No more plates or films for offset (litho) - or screen-print – so significantly faster and more flexible. Digital allows each disc to be personalised with name, address, telephone number, passport photo, barcode, winning numbers – all custom made in high resolution of 2400 dpi print quality. Also available with scratch panel.
Resolution: 2400 dpi (with variable pixel intensity)
Colour referencing: CMYK. (Please note: Special colours e.g. pantone, HKS, day glow or metallic cannot be printed with the digital printing process)
Printing: We always used a white base, as without a white background the effect of the image will be significantly different due to the reflectivity of the aluminium on the disc.
Proof: We supply a PDF proof before printing commences, this is not colour accurate and should be used to check layout of your. Data design can be sent by e-mail or by a CDR disc in the post.
We accept high resolution Images (min 300dpi) as JPEGS, TIFF also design packages: Quark Express and Photoshop. Any design which was created with the program "Illustrator CS" should be saved with the function "Export" in the format "Illustrator Legacy (ai)" or "Illustrator Legacy EPS".
Important:
Please make sure that the image does not exceed the outer diameter and that the required measurements for the centre hole are kept. See our specification sheet: Digital Print |
